Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was previously a supermodel, is now a film director. She started her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Because of her success within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas has become an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Namajunas had his birth on June 29, 1992, within Milwaukee Wisconsin. The fighter was born into the same Lithuanian family. Rose was a kickboxer and basketball player as a child. Invicta Fighting Championships was her first fight in professional. At 18, she had won two by submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC Strawweight in December 2014 at just 22 years old. Rose has experienced highs as well as her lows as well throughout her career, yet she has always come to the winning. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Title as well as the title of the title of Fighter of the Night. This was the first time that a female wrestled in a major event in a title fight. Following this victory Namajunas went onto have several victories, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
